The Lutron Wired Daylight Sensor with Infrared Receiver is designed to enable precise daylight harvesting when used with compatible Lutron ballasts, control modules and sensor interfaces. It continuously monitors available natural light and automatically adjusts artificial lighting levels to maintain a consistent illuminance within the space, dimming lights when daylight increases and brightening them when it decreases. Integrated infrared functionality also allows for advanced system programming and local control access, making it a versatile component for intelligent lighting management systems.
