GUDE 87-1310-18 30-Fold Switched & Metered PDU

GS-87-1310-18

The GUDE 87-1310-18 Expert Power Control provides enhanced operational security and energy efficiency for AV/IT racks. It helps prevent outages in critical IT and AV infrastructure and allows early detection of problems through proactive power and environment monitoring. Designed for vertical installation, it provides full control for up to 30 consumers in 0 HU and enables remote reboot or automatic self-healing via integrated watchdogs. The device supports easy integration through REST API, HTTPS, SNMP, Telnet, and MQTT, while providing measurable energy savings by controlled switching off of devices.

Features & Benefits

  • Event and schedule controlled switching
  • Precise current metering of up to 9 electrical units
  • 2 connectors for plug-and-play sensors
  • No height unit required due to vertical installation in the rack
  • Simple and quick mounting due to integrated mounting straps
  • NTP function can be activated
  • Integrated surge protection (SPD) type 3
  • Each power port can be switched via HTTP(S), SNMP, ModbusTCP or command line interface via Telnet, SSH and MQTT
  • Programmable on/off sequences for remote reboots (Remote Reboot)
  • Power ports can be switched when preset sensor thresholds are exceeded
  • Self-healing function thanks to 30-channel watchdog: Each power port can be assigned its own Watchdog (ICMP/TCP), which initiates an automatic restart if necessary
  • Switching state and switch-on delay up to 9999 seconds (166 minutes) individually adjustable for each output port after power failure
  • Current peaks due to increased inrush currents are automatically prevented by sequential switch-on with a latency of 1 second
  • Power consumption metering (kWh) with 2 energy counters: one counter counts consistently, the other counter is resettable
  • Metering of current (A), voltage (V), phase angle, power factor, frequency (Hz), active power (W), apparent power (VA) and reactive power (VAr)
  • 2 connectors for combined plug-and-play sensors (temperature, humidity and air pressure)
  • Integrated surge protection type 3 (SPD) prevents damage to the device and connected loads
  • Long-life High-Inrush Relays prevent welding of relay contacts during inrush current peaks
  • Generation of status messages and alarms (e-mail, syslog, SNMP traps, MQTT, SSH, Telnet)
  • Encrypted e-mails (SSL, STARTTLS)
  • Access protection by IP access control
  • Encrypted communication through SSL (TLS 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) and SSH
  • Password protected access
  • Beeper for audible alarm when sensor limits are exceeded/deceeded
  • Easy-to-read LED display for total current, IP address, and sensor values
  • Firmware update via Ethernet during operation (no restart required)
  • Simple configuration via web browser, Windows or Linux program
  • Dynamic assignment of IP address via DHCP or manual assignment of static IP address
  • Integrated type 3 overvoltage protection (L-N, L/N-PE), status retrievable via network
  • High-inrush relay: max. 4 sec: 30 A / max. 20 ms: 80 A
  • Measurement of current (A), voltage (V), phase angle, power factor, frequency (Hz), active power (W), apparent power (VA) and reactive power (VAr)
  • Encrypted communication through SSL (TLS 1.1, 1.2, 1.3)
  • Vertical mounting, 0 HU
  • LxWxH: 170 x 8 x 6.5 cm (including mounting brackets)
