The SM11 is an advanced HDMI signal management device designed to resolve HDMI compatibility, EDID, HDCP 2.2, clock stretching, and handshaking issues, which are common when distributing 4K content. It also provides audio embedding and de-embedding, allowing up to 7.1-channel audio to be extracted or inserted into the HDMI signal path.

- Can function as either an HDMI audio de-embedder or audio embedder
- Can extract audio with or without a display connected (acts as HDMI end-point)
