Blustream introduces the SM11ARC, a compact yet powerful HDMI signal management tool that has quickly become an essential in every professional installer’s toolkit. Designed to tackle the most common HDMI challenges, the SM11ARC resolves HDCP conflicts, manages EDID, corrects clock stretching issues, and allows audio to be embedded or de-embedded from an HDMI signal - making installations smoother and more reliable.
Building on the functionality of its predecessor, the SM11 the SM11ARC adds support for HDMI ARC, allowing installers to extract and manage TV audio while maintaining full HDMI signal control. This makes it the perfect choice for setups requiring both signal stability and audio return from an ARC-capable display.
Professional Signal Management
The SM11ARC is engineered to solve common HDMI distribution headaches. Whether it’s compatibility conflicts, handshaking errors, clock stretching, or EDID problems, this device ensures even complex 4K setups run smoothly. Fully compliant with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.3 standards, it supports resolutions up to 4K @ 60Hz 4:4:4, including HDR, and works with standard resolutions ranging from VGA to WUXGA, and 480i up to 4K 60Hz.
Flexible Audio Control
Audio management is where the SM11ARC really shines. Installers can de-embed audio from HDMI signals to optical S/PDIF or analogue outputs, embed analogue audio onto an HDMI output, or extract HDMI ARC audio from a connected display with up to 5.1 channels. Notably, the device can even operate without a connected display, acting as the HDMI endpoint, and supports CEC bypass when ARC passthrough is active.
This level of flexibility ensures installers can handle a wide range of AV setups, from simple HDMI troubleshooting to complex integrations where audio routing is critical.
