With improved woofer robustness, redesigned grilles, and a frequency response reaching an astonishing 35 kHz, it delivers sheer power with precision. The 98 dB model is slightly more compact, ideal for smaller spaces, but still capable of room-filling sound with its 32-bit/96 kHz processing and a frequency range from 18 Hz to 25 kHz. Both are available in Light Pearl, Deep Forest, and the stunning Opera de Paris finish, making them as much a statement piece as they are a listening device.

Placement matters. Devialet recommends positioning your Phantom Ultimate between 45 and 90 cm off the ground and at least 30 cm from the wall to let bass frequencies evolve naturally. Keeping the space in front clear allows the sound to propagate without obstruction, and for stereo setups, spacing between speakers between 1.4 and 2.5 metres apart and angling them inward by 25-30 degrees creates a vivid, lifelike soundstage.
