With the Cancel Recurring Meetings function enabled, Humly monitors check-ins for recurring bookings. If no one checks into a meeting for a designated number of consecutive sessions (between 3 and 7, depending on the company’s settings), the system will automatically cancel the entire series.


This feature helps organisations:

  • Free up underused or unused meeting spaces

How the Check-In System Works

Humly’s check-in process is designed to boost space utilisation and eliminate inactive bookings. Before a meeting begins, a check-in button appears on both the Humly Room Display and the Humly Booking Device.


  • The button becomes active 10 minutes before the scheduled start time
  • Attendees have a 5 to 30-minute window (configurable) after the start time to confirm their presence by checking in
  • If no check-in occurs during this window, the meeting is cancelled, and the room becomes available for others to book


In version 1.7, Humly introduced Touchless Check-In, allowing users to confirm attendance simply by swiping their RFID card at the display - no physical contact needed.
