It's all very well for a distributor to describe themselves as; technical, value-add, the Installer's distributor, with a great pedigree. 

However, if you can't back it up, its just words on a website. 

So, here's our evidence;


Technical distributor

We don’t just claim to be technical, we are. Here’s how;

  • We have genuinely technical people
  • Team of 6 with 69 years of combined industry experience
  • Degree level education
  • Sales team of 14, they aren’t telesales or reps, they are all technical and know their products
  • Sales team have monthly technical product training
  • We don’t sell TVs or low value projectors etc.
  • Home automation, Lighting control, Networks, Conferencing, Infrastructure….
  • Specialist/niche areas
  • We don’t sell hundreds of brands, we focus on a few and know our products
  • Dealer training – technical not sales pitches

Value-add distributor

(A value-add distributor ‘VAD’ not only provides the basic box-shifting element of distribution; pick, pack & ship, services for the products they sell, but also offers differentiating services and solutions that provide additional benefits to their customers and the manufacturers they represent).

In our case;

  • Dealer training; in-house, on-premises, lunch & learn, webinars & 1 to 1
  • Sales support; advice, recommendations and offering alternatives, not just order takers
  • Pro-service support; measure, install, commissioning, programming
  • We have our own technical support team, not relying on the manufacturers
  • Providing support from system design, demonstration, installation and post-sales technical support. And willing to go to site to help fault find
  • We don’t try to support hundreds of brands, we focus on less than 30 and know them well
  • Dealer technical sales support attending end user demonstrations
  • Provide system design from lighting schedules
  • Demonstration facilities, Hungerford, London and NSBRC Swindon
  • Generating sales leads from events and NSBRC
  • Demonstration and loan equipment available
  • Able, and willing, to demonstrate products on-site

Installer’s distributor

  • We offer a great range of installer solutions and providing focussed support specifically for them;
  • Infrastructure product range; Racks, mounts, power, cables, switchers etc, projection screens & speakers
  • Infrastructure team; A team of 4 specialist sales support people; 2 resi & 2 commercial
  • Installer’s Fridays monthly offers
  • Pro-services installer’s support, measure & install blinds, program, commission
