Course pre-requisites:

You are required to bring a laptop PC and to have installed the AMX VisualArchitect(VA) software. This is available to order from RGB as a free-of-charge item.

A basic knowledge of Ethernet and WiFi networks is assumed but not essential. However, such knowledge will be required for programming and if you are unsure then we recommend doing our "Networks and WifI" course prior to "AMX Programmer I".

Notes:

  • VA CD-ROMS are serial numbered and if you need to install the software on multiple PCs it will be necessary to order a separate disc for each computer.
  • Once installed VA software cannot be moved to another PC.
  • VA updates are available online from the AMX website
