If you should have a problem with one of our products, please call our Technical Support Desk and we will:

  • Give you a Returns Reference Number
  • Fax you a delivery note to enclose with the product when you return it to us
  • Repair it as quickly as we can

90 day 'no quibble' Advance Replacements- introduced 29/3/06

All our products go through rigorous testing and inspection procedures and should therefore be in good working order when you receive them. Should something nevertheless have slipped through the net and your brand new product is faulty, if you advise us within 90 days of receipt, we will advance replace it.

  • All subject to availability.
  • For made to order items such as Cyviz rigs, special Draper screens and Lutron Homeworks systems, we will replace the individual components.
  • projectiondesign- if the lamp fails we will replace the lamp only.
  • Excludes all Denon, Marantz, Escient and custom made products

Please note that we charge for repair and delivery costs where the product is out of its warranty period or if its failure is due to damage/misuse. We reserve the right to refuse to accept goods for credit if they are not returned within 21 days of being advance replaced

ADA

ADA provide a 1 year parts and labour warranty on all electronics.

Power amplifiers carry a 3 year parts and labour waranty.

AMX

Return to depot - parts and labour. Repairs performed by AMX UK

AMX Corporation warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use for three (3) years from the date of purchase from AMX Corporation or an authorised AMX World Partner (RGB Communications Ltd), with the following exceptions:

  • Electroluminescent and LCD Control Panels are warranted for three (3) years, except for the display and touch overlay components that are warranted for a period of two (2) years
  • Disk Drive mechanisms, pan/tilt heads, power supplies, MX Series products and KC Series products are warranted for a period of two (2) years
  • Unless otherwise specified, OEM and custom products are warranted for a period of two (2) years
  • Batteries and incandescent lamps are not covered under the warranty
Chief
  • To be free of defects in material and workmanship for 10 years.
  • Electrical mechanisms have a 1 year limited warranty.
  • Gas Cylinder and one-way bearing mechanisms have a 5 year limited warranty.
ClearOne
  • 2 years return to depot - covers parts and labour
    Repairs performed by ClearOne Communications
Cyviz
  • 2 years parts and labour but not inclusive of software, external devices and lamps (including filters, filter holders, polarised glasses and cables).

    External devices: 6 months

    Lamps: 3 months or 500 hours

Denon

  • 2 year warranty for custom install products, 1 year warranty for professional products
Draper
  • 1 year

    All products are warranted for one year against defects in materials and workmanship with these exceptions:
    - V Screen has a 5 year warranty
    - Cineplex has a 10 year warranty

Escient

  • Two year warranty

Kramer

Lutron
  • 2 years return to depot - covers parts and labour
    in practice Lutron will replace products rather than repair them.

Marantz

  • 2 year warranty for custom install products, 1 year warranty for professional products
Middle Atlantic Products

Middle Atlantic warrants the products it manufactures to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and conditions:

  • For the life of all sheet metal products, 7 year warranty on castors and wood products, 3 years on rotating products, 3 years on power, light, temperature and cooling products

  • 3 year limited product warranty

RBH
  • A, TK & MC Series In-wall/In-ceiling: 25 years
  • Signature In-wall: 5 years
  • Freestanding speakers and subwoofers in the CT Series, TK Series, MC Series, M Series and Signature Series: 5 years (except amplifiers)
  • Electronic components such as Subwoofer Amplifiers (including integrated powered subwoofer amplifiers): 1 year
    E.G. a Signature Series powered subwoofer would have a 1 year warranty on the amplifier, but a 5 year warranty on everything else.

Sharp
  • 3 year collect, repair and return warranty providing the product has been registered with Sharp

If a problem is experienced with a Commercial AV product, the User will need to call the dedicated Commercial AV Helpline (Telephone: 0845 880 0513) and advise the call centre of the problem. Please note, that before a service visit, the Commercial AV Helpline need to ensure that there is an actual fault with the unit, this will involve technical questions that need answering. It is important that the User is familiar with the operation of the unit and its environment of use.

If there is a fault with the unit, an engineer will visit the site within 6 working hours with a replacement unit. If possible (at the discretion of the user) the unit will be repaired. If this is not possible a loan unit will be left and the faulty product returned to the workshop for repair. When the users unit is repaired, it will be returned to site and the loan unit collected.

In the case of some installations, it will not be possible to carry out a de-installation of the product without specialised equipment. The type of installation should be advised to the Commercial AV Helpline on initial contact to avoid delays in repair. If the installation requires specialised equipment to uninstall the product or the unit is located in a secure area needing clearance, there will be a delay in the response time accordingly.

Product that is found to be faulty on initial installation must be refereed to call the dedicated Commercial AV Helpline (Telephone: 0845 880 0513).
There may be delays in providing service to certain locations such as the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, etc. Sharp will endeavor to keep these delays to a minimum.
