The ScreenPRO II Seamless Switcher is a multi-layer video display system that combines seamless switching with a variety of flexible video effects to provide a versatile video production tool for live event staging and fixed installation applications.

ScreenPRO-II EOC Option

The card operates in two different modes. In the primary output mode the card provides interlaced or serial digital formats at the same resolution, and with no delay, as the main Program and Preview Outputs. In the auxiliary output mode, the card supplies interlaced or serial digital formats, but at different resolutions from Program and Preview outputs. In the auxiliary mode there is a frame delay from the Program and preview outputs. In both modes, outputs from the card can be used for recording or to display on a monitor.
In addition to the enhanced output format capabilities, the EOC supports the capture, storage and recall up to 100 full frame still images for use as background sources.

Blend Pro II

BlendPRO-II adds widescreen blending capability to the ScreenPRO-II family. BlendPRO-II accepts DVI signals from up to four ScreenPRO-II seamless switchers and processes them for display in multi-projector blended widescreen format. Processing includes data doubling to generate overlapped projected regions as well as edge-feathering of the overlapped images. The amount of data overlap and the edge-feather transfer function are user programmable.

Within the FSN-1400 chassis, four standard cards provide the system’s raw horsepower:

• One Native Input Card (NIC) provides eight native HD-SDI or SD-SDI inputs, plus frame synchronization and auto-timing (+/- 0.5 lines).
• One dual-channel Universal Input Card (UIC) provides the power of two Barco Athena scalers. The card offers frame synchronization, auto-timing and seamless integration of analog, digital (DVI, SD-SDI, HD-SDI), and computer resolutions up to UXGA or 1920x1080.
• One Mix Effects Card (M/E) provides PGM, PVW and CLEAN outputs for each M/E. The card also provides native Aux outputs 1 through 6, plus dedicated DSK cut/fill inputs.

• Install up to two dual-channel Universal Output Cards (UOC) as Aux Bus outputs. Each card provides the power of two Barco Athena scalers, with selectable output resolutions up to UXGA or 1920x1080.
• Install up to two dual-channel 2D Digital Video Effects Cards (DVE), enabling you to create up to four high-resolution PIPs (picture-in-picture effects) using Athena Scalers.

MatrixPRO Switchers

12x4, 12x8, 16x8, 16x16 RGBHVA Matrix switchers

The MatrixPRO series offers four models of wideband matrix switchers for routing analog RGBHV video signals: 12x4, 12x8, 16x8, and 16x16. All inputs are universal and can accept computer (up to 1600x1200), composite, s-video, component video, HDTV, RGBHV and stereo audio. Each model provides for switching of RGBHV signals and two channel stereo audio (balanced and unbalanced). Each input and output is individually isolated and buffered. These inputs can be switched to any one or all outputs with no crosstalk or signal noise between channels.

MatrixPRO Digital Series

8x8, 16x16 HD-SDI and 16x16 SDI Matrix Switchers

The MatrixPRO Digital Series offers three models of serial digital matrix switchers for routing of SDI and HDSDI video signals: 8X8, 16X16 HD-SDI and 16X16 SDI. The HD-SDI models allow users to route either HD-SDI or SDI signals. The SDI unit will only pass SDI signals. Each input and output is individually isolated. These inputs can be switched to any one or all outputs with no crosstalk or signal noise between channels. All models are SMPTE 259M compliant for inputs. The HD-SDI models are also SMPTE 292 M compliant for input sources.

MatrixPRO 8x8 DVI

8 x 8 DVI Matrix Router

The MatrixPRO 8x8 DVI router accepts inputs up to 2048 x 1080 (including all HD) resolutions. Each input is re-clocked as it passes through the router maintaining the DVI signal strength. Each output channel can also display an internally generated test pattern. The test patterns are available with or without any valid input signals.
