Key Responsibilities
This office based role is to provide Technical support for our range of Savant Apple based Control systems products. This will include Telephone and Email support, System design and preparing quotations, some Programming,
Assisting our sales team and liaising with our supplier/ manufactures.
Dealing with products faults and arranging repairs.
Key focus will be on our new Savant range but will also include our other Audio visual products.
Full training will be provided on these products
The suitable candidate would ideally be qualified to Degree level
Knowledge of Apple computers, networks and computer programming are essential ideally in C or C++ and XML, Graphics software such as Photoshop C5. Knowledge of RS232, IR, and IP (networks) communications
Good Diagnostic skills and logical problem solving.
Experience with Audiovisual equipment and Home automation would be beneficial but not essential.
You will be working as part of our Technical team and Candidates need to self motivated and a good team player.
Other general duties:
Supporting our demonstration Facilities,
Assisting with running training courses at RGB for dealers
There may be requirement to attend supplier training courses abroad.

Technical support with the main focus on our range of Audio products. This will include System specification and preparing quotations, Telephone support, Dealing with product faults and arranging repairs. Assisting sales and discussing with dealers applications.
Key products are Clearone Audio conferencing products and their new range of Video conferencing products, Revolabs Microphones,RBH speakers,Shure and QSC audio products. Lutron Lighting and general cover for all our products with a focus depending on experience.
Full training will be provided on all these products.
Other general duties:
Assist with maintaining RGB demonstration facilities.
Occasional site visits with Sales for complex projects and practical demonstrations.
The suitable candidate would ideally;
Be qualified to Degree level and have a background in the Audio Visual industry, commercial, residential or both.
A good working knowledge and practical experience with Audio and Audio products is essential.
Also good problem solving skills and technical support experience of AV systems and installers.
You will be working as part of the technical team and candidates need to be an excellent communicator, self motivated and a good team player.
